OCC Youth Programs

Generation Jesus

On the first and third Sundays of each month the youth of the church have activities from 5:00 – 6:30 pm. They gather under the name “Generation Jesus.” Generation Jesus is composed of three different Youth Groups.

U      Club 345 is the newest youth group for grades 3, 4 and 5. Students meet for fun, fellowship and worship and mission. Activities include quarterly field trips, and fundraising for missions.

U      S.P.I.R.I.T. (Special People Reveling In Togetherness) - This fellowship is for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. All middle school youth are invited to join the SPIRIT team. The theme for the 2007-2008 year is “Facing the Giants.”

o       SPIRIT plans its program to meet the social and spiritual needs of middle school young people.

o       SPIRIT Activities are planned to provide opportunities for faith development, mission and service projects as well as times for fun and fellowship.

o       SPIRIT is a mission-minded group with many opportunities to help others.

o       SPIRIT has dances, lock-ins, outings, fund-raisers, and a meaningful week-end retreat in the spring.

U      SR HI Fellowship is a group of exceptional individuals who share fellowship, ritual, and service. Also meeting the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, often the group has an activity outside the church on one meeting and in church activities on the other. Over-nights are a popular activity with the SR HI Fellowship which gives plenty of time to study, worship, enjoy each other, and plan for future activities.  This group is involved in wider church activities, a week-long mission venture and has a spring trip planned.

Have a friend, be a friend, bring a friend to Christ.
